All Tribal contractors Association Fata have strongly condemned the imposition of 20% cut on the annual Maintenance & Repairing funds in Fata, and warned if the decision would not review immediately, tribal contractors will boycott from all the developments works in Fata. Taking to reporter here at khar on Sunday, President All Tribal contractors Association Fata ,Haji Zahir jan said that his Association strongly condemned the Fata secretariat decision  about the imposition of 20% cut on Maintenance and Repairing(M&R) works in  tribal areas.“We would never accept the decision because it’s totally against the Fata,” he added. He said that decision would badly suffer the works of repairing and maintenance of public installation across the tribal areas that have roughly affected from the militancy and the military operation. He blamed on the official of the Fata secretariat for not taking interest in the development of tribal areas, and said that so for very little amount of the funds allocated for the works of Maintenance and referring have been released to the agencies. “Only 30 percent amount of the funds allocated   in 2011-12 budgets for the annual Repairing works released, and the released funds have been spent for the furnishing of Fata secretariat and Fata colony Peshawar,” he added. He asked the Governor KPK and official of the ministry of State and frontier regions  to take series notice over the imposition of cut on the developments funds allocated for tribal areas. He warned the tribal contractors would not only boycott from the government schemes also launched protests all over the tribal regions if the decision will not take back soon.
