 Political Agent Bajaur Agency, Sayed  Jabar Shah has said on Thursday  that Bajaur levies forces had   played vital role in the restoration of peace in the region and saying that providing of basic trainings and modern weapons would more enhance the professional capability of levies personnel. Addressing at the Passing out parade ceremony of newly passed out recruits of Bajaur Levies force here at Khar, he said the administration Is committed to improve the efficiency of levies force, because the levies forces are the backbone of the civil administration.Appreciating the efforts of levies force in the war on terror, he said that the tribesmen of the agency had admitted the jobs of the levies personnel against the militants, “we are proved of the efforts of levies force who had brilliantly performed their duties as the frontline force against the militants,” he added.He said that the government and the tribesmen would never forget the Bravery and courage of the levies personnel who have given sacrifices of their lives for the security of the country. Awarded of tamgha shujat to six levies personnel was a great honor for the Bajaur levies force and that’s are the recognition of the courage and commitment of Bajaur levies force.    Political agent also paid rich tributes to the Subidar Major of Bajaur levies force Javid khan , Subidar Fazal Rabi and others official of the Bajaur levies forces that were killed in the suicide attack in Khar last month. “The administration is proved of their sacrifices in which they had secured the region of the scourge of terrorism,” he said. Lauded the efforts of the local elders for peace in the agency, he said that force and the people of the agency are united for the complete elimination of militants’ activities in the region. The passing out parade ceremony was also attended by large number of tribal elders, Leaders of different peace committees, Local political elders and senior official of the administration. Earlier the Political agent examined the parade of the newly pass out recruits. In the event the recruits also exhibited their powers in anti terrorist skills and demonstrated ways to neutralize militants. Mean while talking to reporter Political agent said that getting of  basic trainings and providing of modern weapons are very necessary for the levies forces and without these things; they will not able to face the challenges in the region . He told that the   basics-training program for the levies has been launched and these trainings would more boost up the efficiency of the levies personnel. To a question, he said that the administration is trying to provide equal facilities to the levies force, which are available to the other forces and such benefits and rights would soon available to them. Talking about the increasing of the salaries and Shuhada packages for the levies force, The summary of that case  are in   the ministry of Saffron and it would take some time,” he added . He said that hundreds of youth of the different areas of the agency would soon recruited  in the levies force  in which the strength of the levies force would be increased .
