Bajaur Contractors Association have strongly condemned over the closing of Japan Aid development project



Bajaur Contractors Association have strongly condemned over the closing of Japan Aid development project in the agency and warned of protest moment and hunger strike if the project would not resume immediately. Talking to reporters here at khar on Friday, President Bajaur Contractors Association, Haji Sheer ghazan khan said that the closing of Japan based project is a huge losses for the agency and it would affect the running schemes in the region. He said that the purpose of the project was to work in the education sectors and several building of the damaged schools in the different areas of the agency constructed through the project. Other members of the contractors Association including, Haji Rahat ,Lal bacha , Abdul Ghafar and Yousaf khan were also spook. They alleged that the official of the Fata Secretariat were responsible for the closing of the project because they were involved in the miss using the funds of the project. They claimed that they have all the evidence of the misusing of the funds who were misused its. They said that the closing of the project would not only suffered the ongoing schemes it has also affected the local contractors, “We have invested million of rupees in the several developments works of the project but yet we have not received our charges,”they said. They demanded the Governor KPK and other official to take notice of the closing of the project and requested of early payment of their charges. They warned if their payments of bill could not provide within week they will launched protest against the official Fata secretariat and added that they will also set a hunger strike camp in the front of Fata secretariat Peshawar.
